The Bertha and Family Foundation has brought joy and relief to the Accra Children’s Hospital with a generous donation made on December 27, 2024.
This heartwarming initiative was part of the foundation's effort to support children battling illness during the festive season, emphasizing the spirit of giving and community care.
Speaking at the event, Mrs. Bertha Biney, founder of the Bertha and Family Foundation, highlighted the importance of giving back to society, especially to vulnerable children. "As a community, it is our responsibility to ensure that no child feels neglected, particularly during the festive season when joy should be shared by all," she remarked.
The donation included essential items such as detergents, thermometers, face masks, bottled water, bags of rice, cooking oil, Power Zone energy drinks, bed sheets, and many other useful supplies. These contributions aim to improve the hospital's ability to care for its young patients and ease the burden on families.
Mrs. Biney also called on the public to extend similar gestures of kindness to the needy. "Every little act of kindness counts. Together, we can make a significant impact in the lives of those in need," she encouraged.
The Bertha and Family Foundation continues to set an inspiring example of philanthropy, particularly during a time of year when the spirit of giving takes center stage. Their support for the Accra Children’s Hospital serves as a reminder of the importance of community solidarity and care.
